What would you say if I ask the process to install SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2008 R2 is easy or not? I believe the majority of it is to say yes - it is easy to install the SQL Server 2008 or R2 on a new server, well me too. In this case recently I had tough time and confronted with the errors as per subject line when trying to install all the components to SQL Server 2008 R2 and database engine for SQL Server 2008 on a machine that is used by multiple applications.
