    SysPrep is the new functionality for SQL Server 2008 R2 installation feature that has been added with R2 version. The installatino of SQL Server always pass-thru 2 actions, prepare and complete which is integrated from SQL Server 2008 version onwards. But now with SQL Server 2008 R2, in addition to the integrated one step installation of a stand-alone instance of SQL Server, a two step installation is also available.
