SQL Server 2008 W7 Installation Error - HELP!

    Hi, so I got a system exchange, and I went from XP to Window 7 (64bit), and now I can't seem to install SQL Server 2008. W7 comes with .NET 3.5, and when I start the install it errors out with this message:
    "MS SQL Server 2008 Setup.....MS .NET Framework 3.5 installation has failed. SQL Server 2008 Setup requires .NET Framework 3.5 to be installed"
    I have the developer edition I'm using.
    Please advise - I need this installed ASAP! Thx

    Try re-installing .NET framework 3.5 and see.
    By the way, are you installing 64 bit of SQL Server?
