I am an experienced SQL Server 2000 DBA. I would like to know what has changed and how things work in 2005 when compared to 2000 strictly keeping the daily DBA activities such as backups/restores/security/replication and other topics.

Is there a article which can help me with this?

    Regards,
    Vikram

Although nature commences with reason and ends in experience it is necessary for us to do the opposite, that is to commence with experience and from this to proceed to investigate the reason.

Also, there are some FREE Microsoft E-learning training courses you can attend. See https://www.microsoftelearning.com/catalog/itproDev.aspx#sqlServer for more details.
