I'm going, even though it's on a Saturday, I must be going mad!
Should be very good though. Too far for you to go, Satya, I assume?
Hey, then its a better chance to say hello to each other... personally .
I have my presentations over there, so keep watching on the DBA side of it .
I feel not too far as compared to the ones I have attended in this year, SQL Server open world in Copenhagen & TEch-ed, Orlando [DOH].

great to meet you on Saturday. It was a really good day. Keith Burns talking about Katmai was excellent. He's such a funny, knowledgeable guy and it was interesting to hear the inside track on 2008.
My fear is.. all the cool Katmai features are going to be Enterprise Edition only.
I just looked at your profile.. and realised our birthday (including year!), are only 6 days apart!
Thanks Tom, it was nice to meet & greet SSP buddy first time here in UK .
I have had a good feedback for my presentation, I couldn't make it for Groupby event as I was tired, away from home (last 10 days) and my flight was due @ 20:30 hours, hope you enjoyed it. I have been asked by Tony to present a session in upcoming user group meetings, if time permits next time we should have by keeping exercise for elbows .
I'm sure you will be more amused to see Redmond guys where they talk about SQL2008 in such big conferences like SQLPASS or TEch-ed.
I want to present at the next one. How else am I going to get my MVP!? Ha ha ha
I didn't go to the Group By. I got enough stick for leaving my Mrs on her own on a Saturday as it was, if I'd chosen to go bowling with a bunch of database geeks it'd have been game over!
Good to meet you Satya and I hope to see you again soon.
I believe thats a better idea if you would like to throw few tips on X64 side by using your own experience to the SQL world, give it a go and next one will be in June that will be full-fledged. [Y]
I'll do it!
Would like to do a bit on 2008 too, possibly on the MERGE statement or maybe mirroring enhancements. Although the latter might be your field?!
Sure it is, 2008 looks promising on the DB mirroring features in addition to High Availability ranch.
