SQL Server Performance

    does sql command replace osql and isql in 2008? Are osql and isql deprecated in 2008?

    I think, ISQL is already removed and OSQL is on the "Deprecated features" list, so will be removed in a foreseeable future. They are superseeded by SQLCMD.

    cool - thanks frank - u know how it is - I'm trying to remember the differences between diff version so just need the ocassional refresher!!!

    THe best option is to refresh the Books oNine too ;) as it will have upto date information on deprecated and discontinued features...
