Same as here, I've marked my diary with Brad's presentation and 2 pre-conference ones.[<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif' alt='' />]<br /><br /><hr noshade size="1"><b>Satya SKJ</b><br />Microsoft SQL Server MVP<br />Contributing Editor & Forums Moderator<br /<a target="_blank" href=http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com>http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com</a><br /><center><font color="teal"><font size="1">This posting is provided AS IS with no rights for the sake of <i>knowledge sharing.</i></font id="size1"></font id="teal"></center>

At PASS, not only did I get to spend time (and two dinners) with Satya, I met several other forum posters, including Derrick. Derrick recently became the IT directorof AMC Theaters (a big company) and is currently moving the company off of Oracle to SQL Server. He has been very busy and has had no time to participate in the forum. My presentation on Advanced SQL Server 2005 Performance Tuning had over 400 people show up, which surprised me. There was standing room only. The topic was rather obscure, and I am surprised of the interest in it. ----------------------------- Brad M. McGehee, SQL Server MVP

I'm glad to meet and greet most of the people such as Brad, Derrick, Jimmy May (SQL Mag), Sommarskog, Dinakar and many others which I know them from other forums. Hey Satya and Brad It was nice meeting you guys. It feels weird you know someone only by name and suddenly you meet him and now have to attach the name to the actual person. I dont know if anyone else from here showed up? *********************** Dinakar Nethi SQL Server MVP ***********************
I spent an extra day in Atlanta, as my flight was delayed from Seattle due to heavy rain. It was good though having star accomodation from Airline due to their own problems, but still recovering from jetlag & 8 hours time difference [<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-6.gif' alt='' />].<br /><br /><hr noshade size="1"><b>Satya SKJ</b><br />Microsoft SQL Server MVP<br />Contributing Editor & Forums Moderator<br /<a target="_blank" href=http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com>http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com</a><br /><center><font color="teal"><font size="1">This posting is provided AS IS with no rights for the sake of <i>knowledge sharing.</i></font id="size1"></font id="teal"></center>
Indeed, it is strange meeting people who you only know through the website. But it does make things much more real. ----------------------------- Brad M. McGehee, SQL Server MVP

I would say my first trip to US was successful, as I could meet most of forum mates (SSP, SQLmag & others) and also had a chance to make new friends.
