SSIS Configuration File

    Hi All,
    I created DTS package with a user variable and saved the configuration in XML file.
    I deployed it on different server and while installation changed the value of that variable.
    But when i execute the package it still takes that old value and throws error.
    But when i execute by adding the configuration file path it runs successfully.
    Is it that i need to add that config file path everytime i run.
    How to install that DTS on different server so that it will read directly from that config file and not it's inbuilt values.[|)]
