    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. Any hints ?

(also my .net 2.0 applications seem not to be able to connect

After failover of the instances of that node, reboot of the node and failback of the instances, SSMS could connect again !

Did anyone also experience this ?? [B)]
