SSRS licensing

    Does anyone know if you need a separate license for SSRS if you are installing that component on a separate server from the rest of the enterprise edition? Or, would the SSRS license fall under the enterprise edition license that you already bought? Is there a link online somewhere that explains how the licensing requirements work?
    I hope I'm explaining my question right...

    You don't need any seperate license for SSRS in this case, as your SQL licensing is covered for all the components (Edition based). Also see the reference of MSFT on MSDN forums:
    End user licensing is not required for a SQL Server Reporting Services deployment.
    Only server licensing is required. However, there have 4 scenarios for licensing a SQL Server Reporting Services depolyment. Please see the section “How to License Reporting Services” in the following article for more information:
