Hi Brad, I'd like to see a forum for the sharing and troubleshooting of non T-SQL code snippets, ie for .NET/C etc relating to SQL. Often performance problems are encountered not because of sql itself, but because of what an application is asking sql server to do. Does anyone else think this would be useful ? Thanks Paul
I like this idea also, although I am not qualified to answer many questions, as this is not my speciality. Anyone volunteer to be the moderator? ----------------------------- Brad M. McGehee, MVP Webmaster SQL-Server-Performance.Com
A definitive and an useful idea by Paul, I believe most of the peers on the forum have extensive application development knowledge using .NET and other languages. I'm sure they will be pleased to extend their skill in this area. We're using .NET at our end and I'm happy to assist in this forum. Im willing to moderate also. I know ive moderated before and stepped down due to lack of activity, but this forum may suit more since I anticipate it will be lower traffic. Can offer help with .NET/Delphi/C++
