SQL Server Performance

support of sql server 2008 database from SQL Server 2005 RS

    Will SQL Server 2005 will support to connect to SQL Server 2008 database
    High level guidance will be very much appreciated

    I am able to connect to a SQL Server 2008 from SQL Server 2005 Management Studio, if that's what you're referring to.
    If you're talking about Reporting Services, you should be able to do that as well but I haven't tried it.

    It should be ok if you have latest SP on SQL 2005.
