Hi. I want a tool to help moving database changes from dev to test and then to prod. It must support MS SQL Server 2005 and handle rollback in case of error and referential integrities. Price is not so important. The tools I have found to cover this are SQL Compare 5 SQL Farm Combine 1.4 DB Ghost 4.5.1422 DB SynchroComp 4.0 SQLDBcontrol 1.4 Does anyone have a favorite or comments on any of these? Thanks,EB
I have work with SQL Compare 5. it is quite a good tool. After doing some testing on trial versions we go for Red-Gate's SQL Compare. Seems to be simple and fast and handles most cases incl. partitioned tables. It only needs installation on client. Thanks,EB
