SQL Server Performance

The SQLBrowser service was unable to process a client request.

    I keep seeing
    "The SQLBrowser service was unable to process a client request."
    appearing in my windows appliocation log.. any ideas as to what this means ?
    single box, not clustered, one instance of SQL2000 & one of SQL2005 on a win2k3 o.s

    check if sql brwoser services is running.

    the browser is indeed running ..
    SQL 2000 is the default instance, SQL 2005 a named intance,,
    Out the box configuration .. I have not changed tcp ports etc

    Did you check sql server errorlog? If you see any network error post it here to help you better. What sql services pack it is running on?

    Hi
    Ive just gone through throgh the sql server error logs and there are no entries for SQL browser
