    I need to know what are the best counters to monitor/record in order to calculate future needs in terms of disk capacities and activities.

    Then I would like to know if there is any procedures to calcluate TPM in a sql 2000 environment

    All this is to do some prediciton for a new SAN failover SQL 2005 cluster

    Thanks in advance [:I]

    see the performance counters i list inhttp://www.sql-server-performance.com/qdpma
    add SQL Databases->Transactions/sec

    projecting forward is slightly tricky because you need to account for differences in data size
    especially if the data to memory ration changes
