Transaction Log Shiping Problem in SQL 2008

    Dear All,
    We are Using SQL 2008 with Windows 2008 Server.
    Our database Log shiping not working and showing following error.
    Error Message -
    2009-02-07 14:30:43.74 *** Error: Could not retrieve backup settings for primary ID 'ecfb9a42-207e-451b-968c-3ac29edc16f9'.(Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.LogShipping) ***
    2009-02-07 14:30:43.75 *** Error: Failed to connect to server SQL.(Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo) ***
    2009-02-07 14:30:43.75 *** Error: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)(.Net SqlClient Data Provider) ***
    2009-02-07 14:30:43.75 ----- END OF TRANSACTION LOG BACKUP -----

    Named Pipes are enabled...
    But the same config SQL 2008 with Windows 2003 Server - Log Shipping is Working Fine.
    If anybody have solution please inform. Thanks in advance.

    I assume you have checked the SQL login security and they are good. Do you use a different SQL port number ? Also, check your firewall in the windows 2008 server, it may be blocking the port if it is enabled.

    I have disbled Firewall in windows 2008
    Login secuirty have admin privilage.
    but still the same problem.....
    Any suggesstions....??
