    hello,
i have a transactional replication between two large (10-15GB) databases. i use horizontal filtering. my problem is that i want to add a filter without reinitializing the replication.my servers run Win Server 2003 and SQL 2000. if anyone has done this, please send me your solutions.
thanks a lot, i look forward to reading your answers.

I don't think there is any way change the filter without initializing but you can do the following ...
Open the publication properties window and change the filter in FILTER ROWS tab as you needed...
and in article Properties, Snapshot Tab change the snapshot option to "Keep the existing table unchanged" so that sql will initialize the snapshot but it will not do anything...
Keep in mind that not initializing the snapshot after filter change, you will have incorrect data at subscriber.
