Our networking guys are going to be doing some maintenance work that will cause our publishing cluster to lose connectivity with our distributor and our subscriber. We are running SQL Server 2005 sp3 enterprise edition (x64) on all nodes involved with the replication. Two questions: 1. When we lose connectivity, which should only be for approximately 5 mins, will I have to rebuild replication or will the publisher just suddenly see the distributor again and just re-start pushing transactions through? 2. If we would have to rebuild is there a way to queue the transactions at the publisher (temporarily pause the replication)? This we we could release the transactions once the connections were reestablished between the servers. One other thing our replication is initialized from a backup if that makes a differnence. Thanks, Jeff
