truncating the transaciton log of the replicated database

hi all,
i have a database in replicatoin,
the problem with this is that the log of the database group rapidly.
i truncated the log of the database but it broke my replicatoin.
would you guys please let me know how to truncate the log of the database which is involved in production.

Truncating the log should not break the replication.
If data is not replicated, it will not truncate the log even you run the command to truncate the log, something else might be the problem...
What is the error you are getting?
