Did you add records to that table in the mean time? Can you post the query you used? Madhivanan Failing to plan is Planning to fail
Run trace for that query and also check the indexes required for that query. Post your query here, so it will be better to understand. Surendra Kalekar
You can view the estimated execution plan before execution in order to find out the cost of query. If it is in a stored procedure then recompile the plan and clear the cache.
