    Hi,Thanks for ur co-operation.

    One query was running yesterday fine and today it is running very slow.

    can u tell me what r the steps to find what is the wrong in that ?

    Did you add records to that table in the mean time?

    Run trace for that query and also check the indexes required for that query.
    Post your query here, so it will be better to understand.

    You can view the estimated execution plan before execution in order to find out the cost of query.
    If it is in a stored procedure then recompile the plan and clear the cache.

    Sounds like you have done massive data modifications in the meantime.
    See if EXEC sp_updatestats will help you.
