Has anyone tried the Upgrade Advisor? Does it provide detail information about the upgrade issues?

    Thanks.

I have had issues when running this upgrade advisor, didn't get free time to dig out the issue.
Hoping to go that path sometime nextweek, I will update accordingly from my results.

I haven't got that far to trouble-shoot the issues as other problems in Production are demanding importance.
The outlook for UA is good that will analyze the configuration of installed SQL Server components, then generates a report that identifies issues that you must address to ensure a successful upgrade. Through the report viewer you can access the excellent UA documentation which gives an overview on how to resolve the upgrade issues.
