We are in the process of upgrading our BI production server from 32-bit a 64-bit Itanium server. We have already loaded the new one, restored the DB from our production system, etc. The problem comes in with the SSIS packages now which won't run (something to do with the SQL version being incorrect). There are two possible culprits here:
    1. The Production server is running on Service Pack 1, the new server is running Service Pack 2. The SSIS packages they are testing were created on the Production Server.
    2. The 32-bit vs 64-bit issue.
What is the most likely problem, and what is the possible solution?
Thank you kindly in advance for any and all assistance.

It would help further to see what kind of errors/warnings you are getting in migrating the SSIS packages in this regard.
