SQL Server Performance

View with more then 256 tables

    Hi,
    I want to create a view with more then 256 tables. SQL Server 2000 doesn't allow me to go beyond 256 tables. Is there any work aroud possible?

    Please don't get into why i need more then 256 tables. My data is horizontally partitioned and i will be hitting only one table based on my queries.

    create a view of a view if possible, and split them between them?
