I am very close to completing the new website redesign. If you would like to help me out testing it, looking for problems, you can do so by going to:

    http://204.9.76.22/default.asp

This is a mirror website. In most cases, the links work. The only exception are those links that point specifically to www.sql-server-performance.com and other third-party sites. Once the website goes live, then these links will work. Also, the e-mail this page does not work yet.

I am looking for feedback in these areas:

    --Design
    --Menu Structure
    --Finding Bad Links
    --Finding Missing Graphics
    --Finding Any Bad Looking Pages

If you find any, please e-mail at webmaster@sql-server-performance.com, rather than posting them here.

    Thanks ahead of time.

    Hi brad,
Now as the beta is done it really looks good.
    It seems completely new experience.
I clicked many links but i found that IE status bar says loading of page is done but it displays the content after 2-3 seconds. At first glance i thought there is no text matter so refreshed twice still the same but when i had patience it displayed so i think you are loading the page including images all at once. I think in ASP we can cache the pages so that it displays some part earlier than complete loading. Just think of this as if some content will be loaded we can wait for more.

At a quick glance, it looks like a great job. I will look closer at it over the weekend. I am a great fan of well designed menu structures. What seems so easy it probably one of the most difficult tasks. It can either guide a used safely through a site or add massively to confusion. I think, you solved it very well. Especially thankful that you don't use some kind of expand/shrink thingy in the menu. When you click the banner of sql-server-performace-com it takes you to the forum main page, earlier you are taken to the main page of the sql-server-performance.com

1.Advertisements on the right side should be aligned to right side of the search link (shift advertisements to right side)
    * Sometimes it is showing exactly right aligned but sometime it shift to left side.
2.Change the format to display sponsored links
3.Body text - Use the empty space in left and right side and try to align the text wherever it is possible. (e.g.http://204.9.76.22/sponsor_information.asp if you align this page then it will look much better.)
4.Try out combo box of scroll bar list to display maximum menu items. Because this menu will increase in future. Or try out some different idea.
5.Most of the pages are opening slowly also check the font size in few of the pages.

I mean combo box or scroll bar list for.. Articles, Tips & FAQ's, because this will grow in future.
