    An ERP consultant is someone who analyzes, sets up, configures, and trains companies on how to run the ERP software. Some common ERP software is SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Agilysis, etc. This job usually requires lots of special training in the product, on top of database knowledge.
