What is the Best Way to Identify Unused Tables?

    How can we trace out Unused Tables in the SQL Server ?
    Please solve solve my issue ..

    rename it and see if your application fails. You can also query syscomments and see if the table is used in any procs. If you use adhoc TSQL in your app, then theres no direct way to find out.

    What is the problem at the moment with these tables?
    Have they been created on fly and not used, if so why not look at the initial process to do so.
