   In a select query when selecting a range of records with BETWEEN operator or
   with >= and <= which one is faster.

   There is no difference (other than the logical) between both. When you look at the execution plan, you'll find that BETWEEN is internally translated to a combination of > and < anyway.

   Many people prefer >= and <= instead of BETWEEN.
