Hi, In a select query when selecting a range of records with BETWEEN operator or with >= and <= which one is faster.
There is no difference (other than the logical) between both. When you look at the execution plan, you'll find that BETWEEN is internally translated to a combination of > and < anyway. -- Frank Kalis Microsoft SQL Server MVP Webmaster:http://www.insidesql.de Heute schon gebloggt?http://www.insidesql.de/blogs
Many people prefer >= and <= instead of BETWEEN. Here is a list of very good reasons for using >= and <= instead of BETWEEN by fellow MVP Aron Bertrand. http://www.aspfaq.com/show.asp?id=2280 Roji. P. Thomas http://toponewithties.blogspot.com
