Hi, We are looking into failover servers and some people say that we have to upgrade to SQL server 2005. Can anybody explain why? What does 2005 offer that 2000 does not.
database mirroring is only in 2005. both support clustering althogh 2005 has several notable enhancements. Simply from a supportablility view it is far, far better to opt for 2005.
