I need to de-install Visual Studio 2005 on a box that has SQL 2005 on it.
VS2005 was part of the SQL 2005 install from the SQL2005 CD.
If I de-install and re-install VS2005, will it cause issues with SQL 2005?
Also, does anyone know of a map or diagram showing the boundaries of VS2005 & Sql 2005 and how they interract?

when you install SQL 2005 , VS BI Development Studio is Installed. If you uninstall Vs2005, only the BI Development Studion will be uninstall. VS 2005 allows you to create Database Applications, SSIS Packages, Reporting Services Project.

Unless you are using SQL Server compact edition you wouldn't have any problem in uninstalling the VS2005 when SQL 2005 is also associated on that server, also within Reporting Services the ReportViewer control is built on the same reporting technology as Reporting Services, it is distributed as a data control in Visual Studio 2005. You can use the control with Reporting Services, or as an embedded data control that provides rich reporting functionality.
