I have been attempting to install MSCS on a Windows 2003 cluster and when I create the cluster on the first node it gives me the following error: 0x0713DE The quorum disk could not be located by the cluster service It then offers to create the cluster with a local quorum. Further when I go through with the installation and try to add a physical disk resource the dropdown comes up blank. The servers are configured with a local raid 5 array for the OS and a shared raid array which is using raid 5 as well and has it's own controller. I have done the installation using the Guide to Creating and Configuring a Server Cluster located on the MS site. I have tried re-partitioning the shared disk as one partition (it was orignally 2 logical partitions 1 for the quorum 1 for the shared data disk). The disks are set to basic. I am at a loss here I cannot understand why the clustering services cannot see the shared disk. I tested the disk after setting it up on each node by creating a file and reading and deleting it on each node and it seemed to work fine. I can see the shared disks in the windows explorer as well. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
