    Hi friends,

One of our customer's server got rebooted. I was checking the reason for the reboot and noticed a message as the process explorer.exe has initiated the restart of server for the reason:
    application: installed
    shutdown type: restart

a log after this, is displays that the process svchost.exe has initiated for the reboot

What does these kind of messages signify.
    Please help me out

This might because of Buffer over run, have they patched their Server with Latest Service Pack and Hot Fix!? Here is one for Windows Server 2003 RPC/Buffer Over Run
