Write Cache enabled grayed out on DELL Perc

    I'm trying to set the "writed cache enabled" attribute on the drive for my log files;<br />however the option appears grayed out: devicemanager-&gt;drives-&gt<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-4.gif' alt=';p' />roperties<br /><br />it is using a DELL perc SCIS/RAID card. I beleive either some dell drivers are not loaded properly or a setting needs to be made in the card bios<br /><br />anybody run into this?

    Check the event viewer for any information and make sure you're using ADMINSTRATOR account.
    Also server is patched with latest SP & fixes.

    May be it is handeled by the RAID configurator.
