SQL Server Performance

Writeback issues.

    Hi all,
    We have some analysis services write back issues after doing migration from 2000 to 2005. can anyone suggest some material ,links or advise regarding this issue.Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the links sathya ...though these are not the issues we are facing. but these links look very useful i might use these links if we ever face similar problems......our issue is that we are not able to enable or use write back option for cubes after migration of analysis services from 2000 to 2005

    OK, thought you are getting such errors.
    BTW what is the error or issue when trying to use WRITEBACK process?

    I would guess you don't have Enterprise Edition. Dimension writeback is not available in Standard Edition.
    Edit:
    Further after a read on BOL refers that
    The structure for writeback tables constructed by previous versions of Analysis Services has been updated in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services. Data from writeback tables constructed by previous versions of Analysis Services cannot be migrated into the new writeback table structure.
    So you might to through the SSAS operations guide for more information.
