License and Latest Price Information

The printing of bar codes is a frequent operation in most organizations. However, when the need does arise, it has a high cost mainly due to a limitation of resources. Other than the hardware requirements, there is an important software requirement. The most important software requirement is to convert your plain text data into bar code images. Neodynamic, one of the most important vendors for SQL Server supported bar codes, has released an improved version of Barcode Professional for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services to handle your bar coding needs. (Read the review of the previous version.)

Review Roadmap

  • What are Barcode Professional for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services' key benefits, and are they actually met?
  • What are its key features, and do they perform as expected?
  • How does it work?
  • Is it easy to install and administer?
  • How does it affect performance on production servers?

All of these questions will be answered in this review.

To develop Reporting Services reports with this program, you must meet the following system and software specifications:

For developing SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services reports:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 with its latest service pack.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services with its latest service pack.

For developing SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services reports:

For developing Visual Studio 2005, Local Reports RDLC (ReportViewer controls):
