2 Newbie questions

Hello there, I have just started exploring what I can do with Reporting Services and have two questions: 1. What is the difference between the trial version and the real one? Is there any where I can read about what is not included in the trial version? I asked because I know for instance Import Access Report is an option when you right click the Reports folder in VS.net. But I do not see that option. 2. With Reporting Services, will I be able to code events? Like how it is in Access, we can code the PageHeader onFormat event, Detail Section onFormat event, etc…… If there is a good documentation that answers my questions, please kindly give me a link. Thanks in advance.

The eval edition runs out after 120 days but is equivalent to Enterprise Edition, that’s the only difference I am aware of. Have you got Access 2002 or higher – this is required for import ? Thanks for the reply. Yes I do have Access 2000 on my machine. And theres where my reports are that I need to import, most of them are on my local. Does anyone else have the same problem? Its a little disappointing if I wont be able to program events, hopefully in the next version or something…

You need Access 2002 or 2003. I don’t think Access 2000 is supported for importing reports. HTH Jasper Smith
