500 Internal Server Error

Im trying to install Reporting Services into my server (w2k3, sharepoint portal server, mssql 2000 sp3a) and after fighting all the week I could start the reporting server service, but when I try to run the Report Manager site the beautiful 500 Internal Server Error Appears, Somebody knows how I can solve that, I follow the incredible and so explicit troubleshooting guide of MS that says:

"HTTP 500 Internal server errorReporting Services requires version 1.1.4322 of the .NET Framework. This error can occur when the report server or Report Manager virtual directories are mapped to version 1.0.3705. To check the application mapping, navigate to the report server virtual directory, and right-click Properties. On the Virtual Directory tab, click Configuration, scroll to the .aspx extension, and read the Executable Path value. If it is set to v1.0.3705, you must configure the virtual directory to use 1.1.4322. Follow the instructions provided in Knowledge Base Article 306005 to map v1.1.4322 to IIS."

I already did that (really was not necesary the virtual site already have it )

Thanks In Advance

<a href=’"mailto:[email protected]"’ target=’_blank’ title=’"mailto:[email protected]"’>Kmilo

Remove the "show friendly HTTP error messages" option in Internet Explorer and try again to see if you get a more detailed error message. Check the event log for errors and any reporting services logs that might exist. Also see:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311766/ You can always try and reinstall .NET 1.1 and reporting services as well.
