Renaming sql server
How can I rename sql server instances.I have 4 instances on my windows 2003 machine.Does dropping the old server using sp_dropserver and finaly adding the new name sp_addserver,will help to achive the task.?

Yes as per the BOL SP_DROPSERVER & SP_ADDSERVER will do the rest. Satya SKJ
