Event filter with query "select * from __InstanceModificationEvent within 10 where TargetInstance isa ‘Win32_Service’" could not be (re)activated in namespace "//./root/Microsoft/SqlServer/ComputerManagement"
because of error 0x80041010. Events may not be delivered through this filter until the
problem is corrected. Can some one tell me about this error. Will this effect the business.n most important what is the process to trouble shoot this.
I have not looked at this but, this looks like a MOM error(filter error within MOM) are you running MOM in your environment, secondly are there any errors in the error log? Olu Adedeji

This desc seems to be true for sql 2005 ent edition of 64bit. My OS is win 2003 ent edn sp1 x86 i.e 32 bit MS say that they hv fix this issue in sp2 of 64, but i think it get unnoticed for sql 2005 for 32 bit. Guys any guesses?
Then you have to report the issue on the MS connect site above, as nothing relates to 32 bit. Satya SKJ
