Datawarehouse for sys.dm_exec_query_stats

I#%92m wondering if there is anyone out there that has link or samples of how snapshots over the time from sys.dm_exec_query_stats and then make data warehouse or function that make trends analyes over time. Something like the “Analyzing operational index statistics” from “Troubleshooting Performance Problems in SQL Server 2005” whitepaper? Regards
