Datawarehouse for sys.dm_exec_query_stats

I#%92m wondering if there is anyone out there that has link or samples of how snapshots over the time from sys.dm_exec_query_stats and then make data warehouse or function that make trends analyes over time. Something like the â€œAnalyzing operational index statisticsâ€ from â€œTroubleshooting Performance Problems in SQL Server 2005â€ whitepaper? Regards
