Not able to get an response from endpoint

I am not able to create an endpoint unless i mention a port other than 80 even though i have changed the webserver port infact i even tried it by stopping the webserver but was not able call the endpoint.
Do i need to make some settings in my server or something else. Thanks.

Have you checked that port is opened on the router or on network?
Try to refernce using the web ashttp://localhost:8080 and look at the SQL error log for more information. Satya SKJ
