encryption require to connect to msdb packages

Hi There I am using SS2005 Enterprise Edition, proper release version not a ctp or anything When i try navigate to my packages in MSDB i get the following error. Encryption not supprted in Sql Server. I have done some checking and it is a known fact the sql server will enxrypt packages, and that the resolution is to use certificates. Also some indications from links i have found that this is just a ctp or beta version issue. Can someone please tell me if there is anyway around this besides certificates. One is to use file system for packages, but how can i at least delete the packages deployed to sql server so far ??? Please help , Thanx
Check whether force protocol encryption is enabled as per KBAhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=318605 Satya SKJ

Hi Satya Sorry for sounding stupid but where exactly do i check this , i have tried , Sql Server COnfiguration Manager for 2005and sp_configure, and read the article but they dont say where you can change this setting ? I am not sure where to find the setting ? Thanx
Hi Satya Are you maybe speaking of encryption in general for sql server ? This is specific to packages deployed to msdb in integration services. CHeck out :http://www.sqljunkies.com/WebLog/ashvinis/archive/2005/03/29/9831.aspx But i feel this article is pretty old and installing certificates is not an option, not sure what i can do? Thanx

There are few articles floating on MSDN blogs about encryption in SQL SErver and SSIS, I will search thru and will refer here if I found any suitable ones. Satya SKJ
