Affect the group and sql server agent

does anyone know the best practices in terms of sql server agent affecting the group. should it be on or off?.
Could you please elaborate ‘… sql server agent affecting the group…’?
SQLAgent must be started to perform any jobs that are scheduled such as backups which are most important task for a database. Satya SKJ

It depends on what you want. I usually leave it as default affecting the group in case of failure. If you do not want this behaviour turn it off. It’s not often that the agent service fail unless there are some other more serious issues with the cluster.
Pardon me to cross the question, for a moment I forgot your query relates to clusters.
