Blank page on every other page!

When I Print Preview a report I get every other page with no data. I’ve only got one ListItem object on the page. If I export the report to .pdf, then the report is fine with no blank pages. I made sure the page width and height were fine to match with the margin sizes.
In Crystal Reports there is option "Suppress Blank Section"
See if you find the same in SSRS also Madhivanan Failing to plan is Planning to fail
Thanks Madhivanan! I wish it was like Crystal Reports. I had to take a little off the width of the object as well as the layout, and that did the trick.
i think you should cut off some width and it should be fine[]

AKTHAR DILMOHAMUD
65 BENARES ST
PORT LOUIS
MAURITIUS

I am glad I read this one…I forgot how to do this… thanks the

Madhivana, Yes, taking some width off the object (I think it was a table) did the trick. Now I’m always on the safe side and make sure the margins are @ 1" left and right, and set the page property to just a tick under 6.5 inches. Thanks!
Thanks Mahdivanan, this helped me too! Regards, LairdSQL

No nothing depends upon setting the width.

Just make the width of the container(eg Rectangle) in which u have taken ur table
Set the Rectangle width equal to that of the reoprt(i.e there should be no space left between the rectangle’s
boundry and the report)
It should be done throughout the report.
Or else it will give u a page break.

Try it . I am sure it will work.

Cheers

Thanks & Regards
Sumit Mendiratta | Capgemini | Mumbai
Consultant,Custom Software Development
Office +91 22 5556 3323 | Mobile +91 9819249554 | www.capgemini.com
Fax +91 5642 1100 | [email protected]
Yahoo msg[email protected]
Join the Collaborative Business Experience
