Change the data src of a report dynamically

I need to be able to change the data source of a report when I run the execute the report. By passing in a connection string or using a custom extension? Does anybody have any ideas or help?

If you use Front End application, you can connect by Datasource property. Crystal Reports has this feature. Try the same in SSRS also Madhivanan Failing to plan is Planning to fail
