Changing Shipping Job Names

I have been testing log shipping and everything appears to be working well. I plan to monitor shipping with a 3rd party agent that will check SQL jobs for failures. So that I don’t get alerts on every SQL Job failure (just shipping), I want to search for only jobs that contain my company name (ABC_ for ABC Company for example). I named the shipping maintenance plan "ABC_Shipping". All of the shipping jobs on the primary had ABC_ in the job name, but not all on the secondary did. For example: Log Shipping copy for ServerA.DatabaseB_logshipping Anyone know if I will break shipping if I rename the jobs on the secondary to allow for monitoring?

No it will not, you can rename the job name as you’re not touching any of its process.
