Convert into Clustered environment

Hi,
I could not find detailed information/steps on how to convert the existing server(non clustered) into Node1 and add a new server to this and make it as Node2 for a Active/Passive Clustering system. We are currently having our non-clustered production server running which we are interested to convert into clustered environment. Also for this upgrade the downtime should be minimum. Does it require the existing server to be cleaned up thouroughly and reinstall OS,SQL Server,DB and other softwares. Could someone here provide more specific and detailed information from your experiences so far. Thanks much!

Thanks Satya for this. Looks like finally we have moved our attention from Clustering to Log shipping now.
BE aware log shipping only provides the warm standby and the contention is the time interval between the log restore. But the Log shipping is more easy and managable than the other high availability processes. Refer to this website for log shipping articles. Satya SKJ

Could I find more information on this time interval contention. I posted this on the other appropriate forum though. Thanks again Satya
