differences between Log shipping & Replication

Both are used to manage the data consistency, log shipping is defined to the database and replication is granulated to table-column level. For the high availability warm standby option better use Log shipping than replication. Replication is better to use if you want to collate the data on a central location with updates. Satya SKJ
