Distributed Transaction Coordinator disk size

I’m installing SQL 2000 on a 2-node Windows 2003 Server cluster and have a question about sizing of the disk for the Distributed Transaction Coordinator resource. Can anyone give me some ideas here? I’m thinking about carving out a 1 GB disk as my first non-scientific guess. I’d appreciate any feedback from the forum members. — Thanks
What kind of distributed transaction activities underlying with server?
We allocated 5gb to a minimal activities under MSDTC. Satya SKJ

I’m installing MSDTC because it is a required when connecting to SQL Server using Microsoft’s JDBC drivers from IBM WebSphere. I don’t think we’ll even have any distributed transactions to speak of, so I feel that a minimum disk size will suffice. I’ll only know for certain once we test this configuration under load.
Absolutely, even we never had any issues with 5gb or 2gb allocation to MSDTC resource. Satya SKJ
