DTS Package Scheduler

I have a few packages that I need to run every hour. I am able to do this in the package scheduler, but it does not seem to save it. It does not continue to stick to the schedule, but I get no error messages. When i try and look at the schedule i just made, it no longer exists!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!
What SQL version and sp, please.

To schedule the job you must schedule the DTS package which will be taken care by SQLAgent process.
ON Enterprise Manager under Management –> DTS package –> Local packages –> right click on the package to schedule it. HTH Satya SKJ

I’m running version 4 SP3. I know where to schedule the package, but when i return to it to check the schedule it seems as though nothing has been set. Is this normal or is something incorrect?
Run SP_HELP_JOB for that schedule job to get more information. Satya SKJ

You should just create an agent job and use the DTSrun.exe utility in a step to execute your packages.
