DTSRUN.exe keeps running

On my SQL 2000 server I have SQL jobs to run DTS packages. Sometimes I need to cancel or stop the jobs before they completed. I find out that even the jobs are stopped or cancelled, their DTSrun.exe still keep running on the server. (I can check this from Task Manager). These multiple TDSrun.exe on the server cause the server performace very slow.
Why does this happen? How can fix this problem? Thanks for assistance, George
That is because the rollback on the process involved in that DTS package, do not attempt to cancel intermittently. Satya SKJ

Satya; Thanks for your reply.
Since those DTSRUN.exe keep running on the server, making server performance very slow.
So I kill those DTSRUN from Windows Task Manager.
Does the killing action impact the data in my database? Georeg
